Jesca Hoop will be performing a rare stripped-back show at Icelandic-inspired coffee house Takk this April as well as playing a session for Marc Riley on BBC’s 6music on 10 April.

Following Jesca’s recent tour supporting I Am Kloot, and in support of the release of new single Ode to Banksy, out on Monday 4 March (the third single to be released from the critically acclaimed The House That Jack Built), comes a two-month run of shows in both the UK and the United States. Throughout March, Jesca Hoop will be performing several shows at South By Southwest festival in Austin, TX and will then be touring with Shuggie Otis throughout April. In the middle of this Jesca plays two special shows in Manchester and London.

‘These shows will be an intimate acoustic and rare affair,’ Jesca explains. ‘We will play songs old and new, many of which from my most recent batch or recordings from the Complete Kismet Acoustic. It’s bound to be sweet! Please join us.’

Support comes from Cavan Moran. Formerly of Manchester folk troubadours These Eyes Are Cameras, who packed bars from New York to Paris, Cavan is a wandering soul, both mind and body, who recently packed up his shit and hit the road throughout Europe, stopping only to break a few hearts and win over a few more. Currently working with a new band and continuing to write and perform on his own, it won’t be long before he sets out again to tell all of the things he's seen.
