Jersey Jumpers: Swing & Lindy "Sock Hop" April 16, 2010

It's a sock-hop inspired night! Come dressed from the '50s and prepare to have your socks knocked off!

Costume not required, but come on... it'd be so much fun! Ladies, think: poodle shirts, chiffon scarf and simple ponytail, pencil skirts... Gents, think: greaser guy -- white t-shirt, cuffed blue jeans, or preppy with letter sweaters.

And yes, please do wear shoes! :)

Lessons with Seth Baldwin and Priscilla Cole:
7:00-7:30 pm - Beginner east-coast swing ("jitterbug")
8:00-8:30 pm - Lindy - 8-count basics and more
8:30-11:30 pm - Open Dancing to great swing music from DJ Phil Chan

Admission: $12 adult, $8 student with ID (FREE if you volunteer)
Includes lesson, refreshments and open dancing.

Come alone or with friends.
Beginners (and all levels) are welcome.
No partner necessary!
