Although his new album is titled The Best Kept Secret, the talents of Dobro guitar master Jerry Douglas are widely known. The nine-time Grammy winner is a freewheeling, forward-thinking artist whose output draws upon a bottomless well of musical inspiration, incorporating elements of bluegrass, country, rock, jazz, blues and Celtic into his distinctive musical vision. Jerry takes time off from his work with Alison Krauss & Union Station and his tour with Paul Simon to return to The Egg with his own band of extraordinary instrumentalists.
