Pelt's major focus is on writing music for each of his three bands - Creation -- a sextet consisting of trumpet, alto sax/bass clarinet, vibraphone, guitar, bass and drums; Noise -- an semi-electric band consisting of trumpet with effects, guitar, rhodes, bass and drums; The Jeremy Pelt Quartet -- which is trumpet, rhodes, bass and drums. His work earned him a huge write-up in the Wall Street Journal by legendary jazz writer and producer Nat Hentoff. His performances have received rave reviews from publications around the world.
