Jenny Amanda Hurwitz and Talbot "Topkatz" Katz have been messing with music for decades -- she on guitar and bass, he on bass -- writing and hollering politically progressive and sometimes humorous songs in clubs and at rallies. Their "subversive pop," a mash-up of folk, alternative and reggae, is melodic with intriguing chord changes and jazzy, funky bass. Tonight they will be joined by the Wizard of Roz on drums and songwriter, singer, and guitarist Peter Pasco.
