Jenny Holzer Projections August 3, 2008

'Jenny Holzer Projections' is an installation of interior light that is exhibited with new paintings. The projections will transform the enormous, seemingly empty gallery in Building 5 into an engaging and provocative meeting place flooded with words, bodies, and light. It also includes a series of new paintings from declassified government documents. This was first shown partly at the 2007 Venice Biennale. They reveal the bureaucratic administration of war through the cloud of paint and the weight of a looming installation.
