Ambassador Jehangir Karamat is the newly appointed Ambassador of Pakistan to the United States. Prior to accepting the post in the United States, His Excellency served as a full General and as Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. In this role, Ambassador Karamat had the opportunity of working closely with President Musharraf. As Pakistan has remained a strong U.S. ally in the ?war against terrorism,? what is the dynamic of this complicated relationship? What is the future of Pakistani-U.S. relations?
