Jconnect Purim Party March 20, 2008

This year's Jconnect Purim Party has a Garden of Eden theme and promises to be an amazing time. We will read from the Megillah at 7:30 pm (which is FREE) and then afterwards join us in partying all night long. Live music will be provided by Sasson and some great DJs with the decor being organized by the woman behind www.koshercreative.com . There will be snacks (that means LOTS of hamentashen) and a cash bar. This year it will be held at Capital Hill Arts Center which is right in the heart of Capital Hill. This year we will also be having a Best Costume contest so definitely come in costume and if you want to win, make it a good one! Tickets are $10 and can be purchased by going to the Purim link on the Jconnect website: www.jconnectseattle.org/purim.

We have arranged FREE parking a few blocks away in the Temple De Hirsch Sinai Upper Lot which is located on the NE corner of Union St and 16th Ave. Entry to the Lot is on the East side of 16th Ave. Please DO NOT park in the Temple De Hirsch parking lot on the NW corner of Union St and 16th ave (directly behind their building). We strongly encourage you to take public transportation however if you are going to be partaking in alcoholic beverages.

On Purim, it's traditional to give to the needy and also to give our friends gifts of food, or Mishloach Manot. Therefore, in the spirit of the holiday, we are holding a kosher food drive to benefit the Jewish Family Service kosher food bank program. Please bring a non-perishable food item to the Purim Party if you can (non-kosher items are fine, too).
