Jazz Vespers to Celebrate the Final Weekend of the Gee?s Bend Exhibition June 18, 2006

Dwight Andrews will present and perform a special Jazz Vespers to mark the end of The Quilts of Gee?s Bend exhibition. He will be joined by the Atlanta Community Jazz Chorus. The program will include the premiere of a new jazz composition by Joe Jennings that is inspired by the Gee?s Bend exhibition. Dr. Andrews is an artist-in-residence for the High Museum, lecturing and producing recitals and concerts.
