Come hear master trumpeter John Worley Jr. as he performs at the historic Rengstorff House in Mountain View accompanied by the very talented Mo-Chi Quartet - Murray Low on piano, Ken Okada on bass, Kevin Higuchi on drums! The Mo-Chi Quartet is John's latest musical endeavor that blends original Jazz compositions, Japanese folk melodies, latin grooves, and all ports in between. In fact, the Mo-Chi Quartet brings out the rich cultural heritage shared by it's members whose ancestral roots reach into Asia and whose musical sensibilities were nurtured here in the USA.

Mr. Worley has established himself as one of the best trumpet/flugelhornists in the Bay Area. He has a unique ability to play all styles of jazz, and combines a hard-hitting approach with potent lyricism to create a unique sound.

This concert is part of the Rengstorff Houses' August Art Festival, combining excellent art, historic gardens, and fine music. All performances are free with lawn seating.
