Catch him while you can. Whether he’s playing saxophone or drums, Howard Wiley is the hottest young jazz musician playing on the west coast. You think I’m exaggerating? I don’t. I challenge you to listen to him on August 26, accompanied by Geechi Taylor on trumpet, Justin Brown on drums and Eric Vogler on bass. Listen to a set and then tell me he’s not all that.
