A new production of Jazz and Poetry & Other Reasons, will be performed at TaborSpace on January 8, 2010 – Opus Two: Love in America: From Romanticism to Globalism, written and read by Portland author Robert Briggs – and accompanied by the jazz of J. Stuart Fessant on sax, Tim DuRoche on drums and Dan Davis on bass.

A unique two-act comparison of four American love poems from differing decades, it mirrors the incredible change and freedom of love in America.
