Jazz Night with Sylvain Carton Trio April 6, 2012

Originally from France, Sylvain Carton is a multi-instrumentalist and composer currently residing in San Francisco. An accomplished saxophonist and guitarist, Sylvain tours and records regularly with a number of groups, representing a variety of musical genres and traditions. As a composer, Carton writes for the Japonize Elephants, Mitch Marcus Quintet, and many other groups he performs with. The music Sylvain will be performing on April 6th is a combination of original compositions and French café music (waltzes, tangos, gypsy jazz, etc)
