Erik Truffaz, trumpet player
Arenowned trumpet player, in 1991 he formed the Eric Truffaz quartetwith Patrick Muller on Piano, Marcel Giuliani on bass and double bassand Marc Erbetta on drums and percussion.
His first album, Nina Valeria, came out in 1994.
Erik’s style evokes that of Miles Davis as much as it does a mixture of different genres such as Rap, rock and electro music.

Patrick Muller, pianist
Born in Geneva to a musical family, Patrick Muller was immediately attracted by composition and improvisation.
At 16 years of age he was already playing in several orchestras.
He worked with many different artists from many different musical styles : classical, pop, world music and jazz.
His success and album sales have seen him touring often in Europe and the rest of the world.

Marcello Giuliani, bassist and double bass player
Giulianiis a musician who cannot be categorised into one genre or another, heis one of those rare talents that knows how to mix their influences andinspirations into a style totally of their own creation.

Marc Erbetta, drummer and percussionist
Onthe international Jazz scene Marc Erbetta is very much in the spotlightalong with the Erik Truffaz quartet, this excpetional musician is agroover and one of the pioneers of jungle drumming.

Xia jia, pianist
Born in Beijing, Xia Jia fell in love with jazz music while studying to be a conductor.
In jazz, the improvisation conquered him, classical music not giving him the creative freedom he desired.
"what’s amazing with jazz is that one must first learn all of the rules of each musical style, to then break them down.
According to the place, the time and the state of mind the sound always varies."
