Stevie Williams plays with the same core studio and live band. These are friends, and the warmth of familiarity between the players is alive in the grooves, a natural habitat and laboratory for Stevie's groove-fuelled jazz. Stevie may play a supportive role providing the root of the harmonic structure or solo or play the melody upfront, inspired by the musicians who placed the bass firmly in the frontline.
