Jazz and Tap for Kids October 29, 2010

This performance introduces the audience to jazz music and tap dancing by using creative improvisation in rhythm and melody. Audience interaction and participation is encouraged through singing, clapping, scatting and body movement. By using familiar songs, the audience learns how a jazz musician and tap dancers use the form and raw materials of a composition to structure a unique performance every time.
