Java Web User Group, BOF 27 - Spring Focused July 16, 2007

The London Java Web User Group will hold BOF 27 on Monday, 16th July 2007 at Skills Matter, London. This meeting will focus on Spring, with Peter Pilgrim (JUG leader) and Phil Zoio both doing talks. Peter's talk is entitled, Spring Framework Update on 2.1 for Enterprise Applications. During his talk Peter will provide an update on the forthcoming attractions in Spring 2.1 that were revealed at the SpringOne 2007 Conference in Antwerp.

Open Source and Java Developer, Phil Zoio will speak on Spring Extensions for Large, Complex and Evolving Applications. In this presentation Phil will look into questions such as how well does the Spring Framework handle, large, complex and dynamic projects? Phil will present a fascinating grab bag of techniques for adressing such issues, ranging from some downright useful and practical Spring extensions to some innovative and experimental techniques that you may want to use with care
