Jason Mraz, whose surname is Czech for "frost," was known on the San Diego coffee house scene in 2000. He released 'Live at Java Joe's after meeting percussionist Toca Rivera. His 2002 debut album 'Waiting for My Rocket to Come' contained the single 'The Remedy (I Won't Worry),' but not until 2005 when his second album 'Mr. A-Z' was released did he achieve commercial success.
