Japanese Contemporary Dance Showcase January 18, 2007

Dedicated to Japan's top contemporary dance companies, this event has drawn enthusiastic and loyal audiences to the Japan Society for the last nine years. This celebratory season features four of the most popular and talented companies from prior showcases and Japan's current dance scene; the pure physical estheticism of Noism 07, genre-bending performances by Pappa Tarahumara, the wry emotional depth from Kim Itoh and the Glorious Future and the dissociative multimedia collages of Leni Basso.
