Vancouver’s latest buzz band Japandroids plays straightforward garage rock loaded with contagious lyrics and riffs. Guitarist Brian King and drummer David Prowse have achieved instant success with their debut full-length, Post-Nothing. A glowing review in Pitchfork Media calls it “terminally catchy music with punk’s enthusiasm and velocity…it’s as fun as an ill-gotten sixpack and there really aren’t too many bands doing stuff like this well anymore.”
