Emily Easterly grew up in Richmond, Virginia. She began playing guitar at the age of 10 and her fascination with the Beatles led her to singing and writing songs. While in high school, she and best friend Mary Andrews formed the group "Jinx's Folly" and made their rounds performing around the Richmond area. Emily now attends the University of Miami as a classical guitar major. She is constantly writing songs about anything and everything. Her influences include Liz Phair, Poe, Sheryl Crow and the Beatles. More recent influences include the Flaming Lips, Sparklehorse and Radiohead.

Come and see the future of folk music. This group with their four part harmony combine elements of bluegrass, country ballads and silly barnyard rave-ups.
