Our January meeting is a chance to discover more about your own health and nutritional needs. Meet August Hergesheimer and Susie Rucker to find out some simple ways of changing bad habits and incorporating a better routine. They’ll share weight loss, de-tox and anti-aging tips that fit with the pace of Tokyo life and really are achievable despite our busy schedules.

August Hergesheimer has studied and experimented with nutritional supplements for over 20 years. Although he recently completed a PhD in Nutritional Science, he believes that his own trials and eventual success with his personal wellbeing provide the greatest knowledge. He focuses on pure, chemical-free ingredients from whole foods that have a broad nutrient
spectrum and high antioxidant activity. He believes the ageing process can be slowed by a diet rich in bio-available antioxidants.

Susie Rucker has a BA in Pediatric Nursing and internationally recognized qualifications in Kinesiology and Nutritional Therapy,
providing her with a unique perspective on the importance of health and nutrition in everyday life. Susie worked in London at the Chelsea and Westminster for many years and overseas with NGOs and Médecins Sans Frontières. After three years’ training in nutritional therapy at Patrick Holford’s worldacclaimed Institute of Optimum Nutrition, she set up her Nutritional Therapy Practice first in Singapore and now in Tokyo
