With the tutelage of some of Austin, Texas' finest honky-tonk musicians, Janine Wilson honed her "vocal chops" and cultivated her own inimitable stage presence to blaze a path from the backyard stages of her childhood to some of Washington DC's premier venues. Her music is best described as roots rock/Americana with a bit of blues and soul for good measure.
