Spring training is here and it is a great time to learn more about your favorite athletes. One on One - My Journey with Hall of Famers, Fan Favorites and Rising Stars celebrates the good sports story of many of the nation’s favorite athletes including top players who have played for the Padres, Diamondbacks, Giants, White Sox, Indians, Red Sox, Cubs, Brewers, Mariners, Oakland A’s, Rangers, Angels and Rockies. The author of the book, 26-time Emmy® Award-winning Jane Mitchell, will be kicking off the season with three local book talks and signings: Saturday, February 26th at Fan Fest at Peoria Sports Complex, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Saturday, February 26th at Barnes and Noble in Scottsdale (Pima & Shea), 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.; and Sunday, February 27th at Barnes and Noble in Peoria, 12 noon to 2 p.m. (7685 West Bell Road).
