Jane Ira Bloom Quartet January 23, 2011

Soprano saxophonist/ composer Jane Ira Bloom was recently awarded the 2007 Mary Lou Williams Jazz Award for lifetime service to jazz. She is also a winner of the 2006 Jazz Journalists award for soprano saxophone, the IWJ Jazz Masters Award, and the IAJE Charlie Parker Fellowship for jazz innovation.
