Jane Ira Bloom Quartet October 17, 2010

Soprano saxophonist Jane Ira Bloom leads this quartet. She was recently awarded the 2007 Mary Lou Williams Jazz Award for lifetime service to jazz. She is also a winner of the 2006 Jazz Journalists award for soprano saxophone, the IWJ Jazz Masters Award, and the IAJE Charlie Parker Fellowship for jazz innovation.
