@JamnJavaDoorGal’s LOCAL SCENE: Carousel Rogues + The Share + The Echo Wall + Blind Man Leading + The Band Concord April 22, 2013

Carousel Rogues formed in 2006 in Frederick, Maryland with (now married) Caitlin and Zach Anselmo with Daniel Wiley joining as a staple in late 2008. After being approached by Nashville producer Ben Shive (Melanie Penn, Matt Wertz, Dave Barnes, Andrew Peterson), the band recorded a self-titled album that released in spring of 2011. The freshman effort was received extremely well by Baltimore's largest college radio station, 89.7 WTMD, reaching the number one spot in rotation for several weeks. Frequent performances and radio spins have been accompanied by a steadily growing fan base. A follow up album is expected in summer of 2013.
