"Secure and beautiful music making at the highest level" (Times Argus)

Join the Philadelphia Chamber Music Society in welcoming Canadian violinist James Ehnes and pianist Andrew Armstrong to the Perelman Theater on Thursday, October 23 at 8PM. Poised to become one of the most important classical artists of the twenty-first century, Ehnes debuts with PCMS for the concert, bringing to the Perelman a musical style which in past performances has "thrilled the audience, capturing the imagination with an interpretation that was wholly authentic and vital" (Winnipeg Free Press, Canada).

To complete the evening, please help us welcome piano accompanist Andrew Armstrong, known for his dedication and ability to take musical risks, as well as his truly passionate musical expression. Admired around the world, Armstrong joins Ehnes for an evening of music bound to captivate and inspire, drawing on beloved works by Mozart, Bach, Aaron Kernis (for a Philadelphia Premiere), and Strauss.
