Jamaican Eats and Travel! March 28, 2009

A rare opportunity to learn about Jamaican travel and food directly from the Jamaican Tourist Board and a renowned Jamaican chef
This special event will feature authentic Jamaican food samples and travel information from the "eco-travel," "adventure travel" and "small villa" perspectives. You will meet Robert Simpson, chef-owner of Back-A-Yard in Menlo Park and the newer Coconuts in downtown Palo Alto, and Dian Harrison-Holland, a 30-year veteran at the Jamaica Tourist Board.

You will also learn about the sunrise at the top of the Blue Mountains, home of the world-famous Blue Mountain Coffee, and about taking a bike tour through and around Jamaica's new roads and old pot holes! The informal style of this event will allow you to get answers to all of your questions about this beautiful island.
