She is backed by The Dap-Kings, a group of musicians from The Soul Providers and The Mighty Imperials. DJ Le Spam brings his signature brand of funky turntablism with live Latin instrumentation, rare spoken-word recordings and old-school grooves to the always-hungry-for-the-next-big-thing, New York City club community. The Spam Allstars features DJ Le Spam on turntables and samplers, Mercedes Abal on flute, Tomas Diaz on percussion, A.J. Hill on sax, Adam Zimmon on guitar and John Speck on trombone.
