Tidewater's jazz ambassador, Jae Sinnett, returns to the Williamsburg Library Theatre with special guest saxophonist Steve Wilson for a concert of straight-ahead jazz on Friday, October 5 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for the concert are $15 for adults, $13 for students with ID and $8 for those under 16, and can be reserved by calling the library at (757) 259-4070. The Williamsburg Library Theatre is located at 515 Scotland Street. This is another in the library's Dewey Decibel Concert Series.

Hampton native Steve Wilson joins the Jae Sinnett Trio (Allen Farnham at the piano, Terry Burrell bass, Jae on drums) in this concert. Wilson has been named by the "New York Times" as the most likely jazz artist to breakout on his own as an accomplished band leader. A member of Chick Corea's group, Origin, Wilson has also performed with Dianne Reeves, Charlie Byrd, Louie Bellson, Dr. Billy Taylor's Jazz at the Kennedy Center, and some of New York's premier big bands, including the Mingus Big Band and the Vanguard Jazz Orchestra.
