In this funny and heartfelt retelling of the Dickens classic, the audience finds Scrooge's business partner Marley condemned to a hellish afterlife. He finds that his only chance to free himself is to redeem Scrooge. So begins a journey of laughter and terror, redemption and renewal, during which Scrooge's heart, indeed, is opened; but not before Marley discovers his own.
