Since leaving the South, Wilson has joined Seattle's up and coming country and roots scene. Along with the likes of the Maldives, Sera Cahoone, Damien Jurado, Michael Vermillion, The Weary Boys (ATX) and The Whisky Swillers, Jack has graced the stages of the Tractor Tavern, the Sunset Tavern, Chop Suey, the Jewel Box Theater, the Conner Byrne Pub, and the Jules Maes Saloon. In addition, Wilson completed a tour of the southwest with D.C. songwriter Mustang in fall of 2007, playing shows in Portland, Eureka, San Francisco, San Diego, Phoenix, Santa Fe and Austin.
