Jack Rose Dining Saloon is celebrating the day alcohol was made legal once again with a weeklong festival including a Repeal Day Party complete with prohibition-priced cocktails (think: $.50 glasses of prohibition punch), a 1920s-inspired menu, an exclusive preview of its soon-to-open basement bar and even burlesque performances. Repeal Day Party will run from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. A $20 ticket gains one access to two areas of the bar: the secondfloor balcony ‘Roosevelt Room’ with bottomless bubbles, specials on classic cocktails and cigars; and the never-before-seen Basement Punch Bar, a soon-to-open private bar which will offer prohibition-priced punch, specialty whiskeys and burlesque performances.
