J Monkeys Book Signing May 21, 2011

Connecticut author J Monkeys will be signing copies of her new book, The Cordovan Vault (CreateSpace, paperback, $11.00), at Fiction Addiction on Saturday, May 21st, from 3-5 pm.

Kayla and Quinn are having a really bad weekend. For 14-year-old enemies whose normal life means that they are forced to live together her brother married his sister, it takes something extraordinary for things to be really bad. Like their house exploding. Or people trying to kill them. When a mysterious DVD turns up with the message, "We are not who you think we are," they begin a crazy adventure to figure out what that means, and they find that nothing is the way it seems. This is the first book in the Livingston Wexford Adventures series.

J Monkeys has always been a storyteller, although mostly just for self-entertainment. J was shocked to learn that everybody didn't spend their time with their heads in the clouds imagining what they would do if some kind of adventure presented itself. After getting a degree in Creative Writing from the University of Connecticut and spending way too long writing boring things for a regular paycheck, J is proud to finally be a published author.
J lives in Connecticut with a menagerie of children and pets and is hard at work on the next book in the Livingston-Wexford series--The Peacock Tale. It's a piratey adventure! Look for it in the fall of 2011.
