Ixion Burlesque Company: Down & Dirty Lounge June 4, 2009

Ixion Burlesque returns to the Slipper Room for any evening of old-school burlesque variety, featuring vocalist Lex Grey and pianist Albert Garzon (former Bindlestiff Cirkus). The show also stars Miss Coney Island, Gal Friday, Fleur De Lys, Jasmine Blushes and Madame Hari. Ixion Burlesque Company was reconstituted (and trademarked) in early 2003, and recreated some of the original company's Greek Mythology based travesties. The company also creates new shows in that mid-1800s "Epic Burlesque" style, with all live music.
