It's Gametime for Grownups! October 18, 2008

Not to be confused with the current political climate - gametime is the concept of grown ups getting together to play, eat, drink and have lots of fun! During gametime, 25 year old and up adults gather together for an evening of friendly "old school" game competition, conversation and making new friends. "Playing games is one of the few activities that allow people to let their guards down and have fun and mix and mingle with each other," said Sonya Moblin, one of the producers of gametime. "Eating and drinking are 2 of the other occasions. We have combined all three events into one exceptional evening of adult fun." Some of the games and activities at gametime include: - battleship- checkers- connect four- dominoes- giant jenga- monopoly- operation- pictionary- rock-em-sock-em-robots- taboo- uno- yahtzee- a hula-hoop contest- karaoke- a musical chairs contest gametime is currently being held on the third Saturday of each month. The October edition will be held at Dave and Busters - the eat, drink and play headquarters for adults! gametime is from is 8p-1a and cost is only $10.
