It's a DMI Happy Hour! June 24, 2009

Support a worthy cause, hear great music, and enjoy drink specials!

Introducing Dart Music International, an Austin-based nonprofit organization that bridges the cultural divide by helping international musicians enrich the culture of Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico.

Come out and celebrate our coming out! We'd love to meet you.

We plan to host a happy hour every month that will include musical guests and drink specials.

This month:
DJ Alan B and DJ Fred will be on hand spinning some great tunes featuring DMI artist members such as 'We Should Be Dead' and 'Polly Mackey & the Pleasure Principle'.

Drink specials will be available from local brewery Independence Brewing Company.

Dart Music International (DMI) is an Austin-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that promotes cross-cultural understanding by assisting international artists with performance and promotion throughout Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico. The mission of DMI is to enrich the culture of our region by exposing patrons of the arts to other cultures through music.

DMI helps minimize the financial and logistical burdens of our member artists by subsidizing costs while increasing opportunities for audience exposure and income.
