Italian wine tasting in support of The Sick Children's Trust
Castello and The Sick Children's Trust would like to invite you to a fabulous Italian wine tasting event at The Biscuit Factory in Newcastle on the evening of Wednesday 8th December.
On the evening, we will be trying 8 wines from various parts of Italy that showcase some less well known grapes alongside some fantastic Italian antipasti, meats and cheeses that will complement the wines. We will show a progression through the wines, starting with a couple of sparklers, then moving through some wonderful whites and up to some very special reds. We'll tell you a little bit about each as we go along, but we'll be keeping it approachable and informal. The event will last for 2-3 hours, and as those of you who have been to Castello tastings will know we're pretty generous and the wine will flow quite freely so if you can get away with not driving then you'll be on to a winner!
Most importantly, this event is being run in support of an incredible charity called The Sick Children's Trust (www.sickchildrenstrust.org) who provide high quality 'Home from Home' accommodation for families whose children are receiving life-saving treatment at hospital. The North East 'Home from Home' Crawford House supports the Royal Victoria Infirmary and Great North Children's Hospital in Newcastle upon Tyne. The charity will receive
