The event is in Italian and consists in a guided tour at the National Gallery to discover and appreciate the masterpieces of Italian painters like Leonardo da Vinci, Caravaggio, Raffaello and Tiziano.
The visit will be focused on: “La Vergine delle rocce” and “Vergine con bambino, S.Anna e San Giovanni Battista” (or “Burlington House Cartoon”) by Leonardo; “Salomè riceve la testa di San Giovanni Battista”, “Cena in Emmaus” and “Ragazzo morso da un ramarro” by Caravaggio; “Papa Giulio II”, “La Madonna degli Ansedei” and “Madonna e bambino con San Giovanni Battista” by Raffaello; “La Madonna Aldobrandini” and “La morte di Acteo” by Tiziano.
The guide is an art historian expert in Renaissance: you will be able to ask her detailed questions about paintings, artists and their techniques, she will be pleased to answer.
