Locanda del Lago presents a distinctive Italian-flavored Thanksgiving Day
menu on Thursday, November 26 along with its dinner menu (at regular prices)
all day and evening from 11:30 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. The popular Santa
Monica restaurant also features a "Thanksgiving-To-Go" complete dinner and a
la carte pumpkin pies (individual and full size) and are individual pumpkin
pies ($6 each), whole pumpkin pies ($45 each, serves 8 to 10) and housemade
gelatos.

Chef Roberto Maggioni's prix fixe Thanksgiving menu is available as a
three-course or four-course meal (or a la carte), and, as an option, each
course is paired with wine. The feast begins with purée of green bean soup,
crispy pancetta, ciabatta croutons, paradiso EVO (à la carte: $10), paired
with ORVIETO, TENUTA DI SALVIANO, '07, followed by pumpkin ravioli, brown
butter-sage sauce (à la carte: $15), matched with SANGIOVESE, DI MAJO, '07.
Main courses are choice of rainbow trout filet, market Bermuda onion confit,
potatoes "ponte nuovo," cranberry sauce (à la carte: $28) paired with PINOT
NOIR, CHALONE VINEYARDS, '07, or roasted and sliced turkey, chestnut-apple
stuffing, Italian shepherd pie, savoy cabbage involtino (à la carte: $28),
paired with MERLOT, BORGO, '07.

The three-course dinner is $49.00 per person (choice of trout or turkey),
the four-course dinner is $62.00 per person, and the Wine Tasting Pairing is
$20.00 per person, all excluding tax and gratuity.

A "Pumpkin Fantasy" dessert (pumpkin purée, cacao gingerbread, whipped
cream) is available for $11 as an à la carte dessert.

Lago's "Thanksgiving-To-Go" features a whole de-boned turkey with all the
"trimmings" (chestnut-apple stuffing, Italian shepherd pie, savoy cabbage
involtino) for $25 per person. Order minimum is for five people; must be
ordered at least 48 hours in advance. Also available are individual pumpkin
pies ($6 each), whole pumpkin pies ($45 each, serves 8 to 10), and housemade
gelato (vanilla, cinnamon, chocolate, $8 per pint).

Thanksgiving Day reservations are essential. "Thanksgiving-To-Go" orders
must be placed 48 hours in advance. Lago's entire menu is also available
