This can be your first introduction to the Italian language beginning with the basic characteristics and rules of Italian, such as the articles, the endings of nouns, adjectives, verb conjugations, and prepositions. The information will be introduced and practiced in class, then applied in conversation. Each class has a conversation topic with useful vocabulary words, phrases and dialogues. The book ?Learn Italian the Fast and Fun Way? is covered in its entirety (one chapter a week) over the 3 quarters in Grammar 101-102-103 classes. It is best to follow the sequence in order, although it is not a requirement and the basic concepts are always reviewed. The book comes with a CD to listen to on your own for repeated pronunciation. It is recommended for the beginner to start with the travelers? class and move on to the grammar class. For information, call 245-7619.
