ALL WRONG AND THE PLANS CHANGE (Hear the band live April 18th 12pm on "...is good" on KILL RADIO this month!! )Ex-members of Stella's Ball, Kassia Conway and Amy Wood begin a new project, "All Wrong and the Plans Change".... Yes they do! But this is not about you, and you know who you are. It's about a newly completed debut album that is long overdue. Under the guidance of producer and guitarist John Would the former songs of Stella's Ball together with the pile of songs waiting on our scratchy demos became a twisted reality. The album, 'A Learning Problem' is a rock, indie, moody, songwriting cluster of sounds we can't really pin down. You'll have to listen for yourself.

OLIVER FUTURE (Listen to Oliver Future on KCRW April 21st on Chris Douridas' New Ground KCRW.ORG) Oliver Future are 5 boys, 2 guitars, bass, keyboards and drums. Just moved to LA, we like long walks on the beach, Tom Waits and Axl Rose. Named after a car accident between Olivia Newton John, and the Future prime minister of Rangoon (Crab Rangoon), Oliver Future have been playing kick ass shows in LA, NYC and most places in between. We are originally from Austin, and get back there often, but we left after gambling most of our estates on a heated game of Jenga. We play mostly The Viper Room and Spaceland and have played with quaint musical acts like Coldplay and The Arcade Fire.

ONE TRICK PONY - One Trick Pony is part of L.A.'s underground gang of bands known as "The Central Second Collective". Their music has been called "darkly sweet" and even "upbeat pessimism". Randolph's clanging guitar and crooning voice paired with the beautifully melancholy sounds of the violin (also modified to play bass lines) make for an eclectic mix. Stripped Down and acoustic or full band (with drummer, Jennifer, and bassist, Morgan) OTP song range from haunting ballads like "box song" to driving dance noise like "machine's night out".

DJ's - Jon Hershfield & L. Pierre
