ISGOODMUSIC @ BORDELLO w/ Cute Phase, Sharon Temple, Pete Hopkins, Fire Bug August 11, 2008

ISGOODMUSIC.COM has been invited back to make itself known at the magnificent Bordello Bar this Monday Aug 11. If we can pull off a successful Monday, this will open up opportunities to book more shows at this fantastic downtown stage.

Opening at 9pm, Cute Phase (www.myspace.com/cutephase) brings a Killers-style rock aesthetic to a genuine Cure-style sensitivity.

10pm features Sharon Temple (myspace.com/sharontemple), who seamlessly blends electroclash and dance-rock for her quickly growing fanbase.

11pm rock out to Pete Hopkins (myspace.com/petehopkins) whose smooth vocals bring a pop r n' b twist to indie rock.

Close out the night at 12 with one of ISGOODMUSIC's favorite and most loyal rockers, Fire Bug (myspace.com/firebug) whose last album Season for Change has more great reviews than Obama. Juliette's vocals are sure to put you in a psychedelic trance and Jules may very well be the greatest rock guitarist who ever lived.

Why do I do this? Because bad shows are inexcusable. I started interviewing musicians I like 3 years ago and have built a network of LA bands I can rely on. With your help, we can make sense of this scene we call indie.
