Isan Rocket Festival May 10, 2012

Every mind-May, the people of Yasothon in northeastern Thailand hold a party and parade for pleasing the Gods. Aptly named the "Rocket Festival", people release rockets as part of the celebration. There are even competitions for the longest flight time and best landing! Many people go on Thailand holidays to see the spectactle... you should join them!
