Irish Celtic Lughnasadh Celebration by Whispering Lake Grove August 2, 2009

The Druids of Whispering Lake Grove, ADF would like to invite you to an open-to-the-public Irish Celtic Lughnasadh celebration at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation building on Sunday, August 2nd beginning with our Annual Lughnasadh Games (for children and adults) at 3:30PM. Our ritual will follow the games beginning at approximately 5:30PM and will honor Lugh, The Master of Many Arts and Nuada, High King of Tuatha De Danann. All guests are welcome to bring offerings for Lugh and Nuada to be given during the ritual. Offerings can be a work of your hand (some type of craft), songs, stories, poetry of the season or other items such as food or drink that you believe the Deities of the Occasion might enjoy.
So, test your warrior skill, strength and endurance and join us Lughnasadh! A potluck dinner will follow the ritual, so please bring a dish to share.
