This musical by William Gilbert and Arthur Sullivan features 'Iolanthe,' a fairy, who falls in love and marries a mortal man. Having broken the laws of her people, she faces a death sentence -- but the Fairy Queen intervenes and she is instead forced to leave her husband for exile in a bog. Twenty-five years later, her son Strephon has fallen in love with Phyllis, the Ward of the Lord Chancellor in Britain's House of Lords. Will history repeat itself?
