A comic drama about psychological testing, cocktail parties, and why your freaky neighbors may be more "normal" than you! INVASION OF THE MINNESOTA NORMALS, set in 1953 Chicago, presents Ruth McKinley, a completely ordinary housewife, and her encounter with Robert and Mary Jones, two uninvited guests who just happen to be former test subjects for a test inspired by the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI). Confronted with what the world considers “normal”, Ruth examines her life and discovers it is anything but ordinary.

INVASION OF THE MINNESOTA NORMALS runs March 13 through April 19, 2008. Previews are March 13 and 14, with opening night March 15. Performances are at The Lounge Theatre at 6201 Santa Monica Blvd. in Hollywood, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 PM. Tickets are $25. Running time is 90 minutes with intermission and concessions available. Wheelchair access. Ample street parking.
