Caper Cutters is offering a rare oportunity to get involved in the lively local square dance community. The first two weeks are FREE!
An introductory 12-week Beginner Class starts on Monday, January 23, 2006.

Square Dancing is a learned skill acquired through classes. The formations and movements require practice. As dancers improve their skills, they advance to "Mainstream" and then to "Plus" Level.

Participants are encouraged to take the class with a dance partner, but a partner is not required. Four couples are needed to form a square. Bring your friends and neighhbors for a fun evening.

Square dancers share a love of music, movement, teamwork and sociability. Together, they move to the rhythm of the music, keeping physically fit and mentally on their toes as they quickly react to the caller. Our experianced instructor will help you get up to speed with our well established group of dancers.

No dance experience needed. Building on 55 years of Square Dancing, the Caper Cutters Club sponsors a introductory class about every 3 years.
Enjoy an evening of music, gliding around the floor to the rhythm of the diverse music selection, exercising mind and body. Change the pace in your life, come and enjoy this social and stimulating experience. We guarantee an exciting and fun evening.

Public transportation by N-Judah Street Car. Street parking available.

Beginning February 6, the fee is $5.00 per person per night. Classes are every Monday from 7:30 - 9:00 pm at St. Paul's Presbyterian Church at 43rd Avenue and Judah Street.
