Austin, Texas 78722

We will be learning about macrobiotics with presentation by Winnie Hsia, a student and staff member at the Natural Epicurean Academy of Culinary Arts.

For those who are unfamiliar with macrobiotics, it is an approach to food and lifestyle that takes into account a 'whole' perspective. The term "macrobiotic" describes a holistic lifestyle which seeks to empower people to take control of their lives and to educate them to make healthy lifestyle choices and decisions. It empowers individuals to establish awareness, health, and harmony in their lives, personal relationships, communities, and environment.

This event will be held at the Neighborhood Acupuncture Project located at 3823 Airport Blvd #C.

Please send an email to [email protected] or [email protected] to register. Class size is limited to 15 people. The classes are offered for a sliding scale donation of $3- $6. The funds received will go to NAP's Herbal Assistance Program.

ATEN members can also attend the classes using Exchange Shares. Please contact us if you have an idea for a presentation you would like to see in this series.
